Jungle Java progress

Now that all the paperwork with Comerica is done on the loan, construction is really moving along on Jungle Java.  Here are some pictures of the build out.  We have already finished with the plumbing, framing and electrical.  After inspection on Monday they will finish drywalling the building.

We are confident we will be open for business in early July, just in time to take advantage of the brutal Texas summers.  We are guessing that we will be busy in the summer while our stores in Michigan are packed in the winter.  It is just too hot to be in on the playground in the summer, the playscapes are too hot.  We shall see, this is an exciting process.

Three weeks in Michigan

As my 18 days in Michigan wind down, I feel like I have driven to every corner of Southeast Michigan, visited nearly all my friends and family while managing to hoist more than my share at Buffalo Wild Wings and Duggan's with listeners from the show.

I am heading back on Wednesday morning, I am driving while Nicole and the boys fly back on Thursday.

Monday was a busy day, we got up early and got Noah and Cooper's hair cut by Henry in Clawson.  We drove to Ann Arbor to see the Jungle Java location in Scio Township and them it was back to Novi for dinner with the in-laws one last time.  While we were in Ann Arbor we got these shots of the Michigan Stadium renovation.

Last weekend we managed to squeeze in a birthday party for the boys at Jungle Java in Farmington, they loved it and we got to see friends and family.

We also dropped in on our dentist Dr. Gorga for teeth cleaning and a check-up.  It was Cooper's first visit, they both did great.

It was a great visit but I think we are all ready to get home to Texas and slow things down a bit before the Jungle Java opens.

Night OUt

We will be up at Duggan's in Royal Oak tonight.  Duggans is located on Woodward 1/4 mile north of 13 mile on the west side.
