Free Mini Mac

My quest to get a free Mini Mac is moving along nicely.  I and four other friends have completed the "offer" on free mini macs dot com, but I am still 6 short.  Help!  I am more curious than anything.  I would like to see if they will really ship a free mini mac if the requirements are met.  You don't have to buy anything, all you have to do is apply for a GM Credit card.  If you have a minute, try it.  If I get a mini mac, I will personally help the 10 referrals get one of their own.  We can all get one!

Super Nanny

I just finished watching my Tivo'ed version of Super Nanny from Monday night.  I love this show.  Super Nanny is right in my wheelhouse as a fairly new dad and a guy with a second baby on the way.  I watch it every week and try to pick up tips from Jo Frost, the Super Nanny.

As I watch some of the horror of the families featured on the show I can only shake my head and thank GOD that Nicole seems to have all this parenting stuff down.  Nicole is a "by the book" person when it comes to the daily challenges of raising our son.  Trust me, when we were married I promised to allow her to coach me on the finer points of raising babies.  She is right on all the time.  I defer to her when there are issues with Noah, she coaches me on the proper techniques and the finer points of making sure Noah is "trained" correctly.  The result of her consistent guidance is a happy, healthy, well behaved young man who is a pleasure to be around.  She is firm yet loving and strong when she knows we have to win a battle for the long term success of the war.  I will tell her what a wonderful parent she is more often.  After watching Super Nanny, I can only laugh and be thankful that I have a wife who "gets it."

Fella's, let your woman train you on parenting issues!  You will be much happier in the long run.
