Streaming fun
I was streaming The Sports Inferno today to hear about the Tigers and came across this little exchange between Valenti and a phone caller. There are a few things I can't figure out about Valenti. One, what is with the phony east coast accent? Hasn't he been in Michigan long enough to lose the Soprano's act? Two, does he really think anybody gives a crap about his allegiance to MSU? It is such an "insecure sparty" thing to do to bitch about the Michigan coverage in Detroit. You aren't the only Spartan who talks on the radio and you aren't any different from the others, all you do is rip on Michigan and try to justify MSU football's existence. Same old stuff, might as well be Ike Griffin. Valenti (who I don't know) comes off as the annoying spartan fan who thinks it is his responsibility to push his finger in every Michigan fan's face when Sparty gets a win. I must admit though it certainly is funny to watch every year. They usually shut up sometime between the time Michigan kicks their ass in football and the Big Ten basketball season starts. I'll get Valenti is a real hero on the MSU message boards. Yeah, he's not blinded by his love for Sparty?
