We made it. Seems like the first week is always the toughest when you start a new show. Aside from the usual grumbling about the old hosts being moved to another day-part, we seem to be over the hump. We've had a ton of calls this week, can't believe there are that many people out there who want to talk sports, but they are calling. It really helps the energy level of the show when you have audience interaction. We've been cruising right along as we ramp up for the college and pro football seasons.
It didn't hurt that Barry Bonds broke Hank Aaron's record this week or that the Cowboy's kicked off the season last night. Texas loves football and it shows when the shows go live.
Other than the show, Nikki and the kids are settling in nicely, we will move into our house in a week in Round Rock, Texas. Weather has been hot and dry for the last week so the Noah and Cooper are getting in plenty of time at the pool.
So that is the update!
