What the F**K happend in Ann Arbor.....
Wow! I would never have thought I would have seen Michigan lose to a 1-AA opponent at Michigan Stadium in my lifetime. I sat in my car today in my driveway for 3 hours listening to the game on Sirius (Direct TV hasn't installed my dish yet) and couldn't believe what I was hearing, or could I?
Michigan football has problems and they aren't all on the field. The column in The Detroit News this week by Wojo was a real indication that maybe Lloyd has lost his fire and enthusiasm to compete. Think about it, he is no longer fiery and appears to have lost his emotional edge. Ever heard the saying that a team takes on the personality of the Head Coach? It is true, Michigan is emotionless, passive and they just look disinterested...remind you of anyone? Bingo, I am talking about Lloyd.
Lloyd has numbered his days at Michigan. He is clearly going to call it quits very soon and his wishy washy introspection about when the right time to leave the Head job at Michigan has spilled over to his team.
Lloyd Carr is a great, honest man, he is a worthy successor to the Schembechler legacy but it is time to look to the future for the program. He doesn't have the drive or the spark to continue the grind of coaching at Michigan, he needs to stop and enjoy himself, all good things must come to an end.
Michgan will rebound, the season isn't lost....yet!
