I got this e-mail from a loyal reader today and I can't say the thought hadn't crossed my mind too.

"It's the Homberg curse!

First he picks up the Lions, then they have a series of epic losing seasons.

Then he gets the Tigers, and they go straight into the toilet. At the same time, he gets the Wings and they suffer a series of early-round playoff exits.

Now he's done it to the Wolverines!"

Of course he's talking about the single biggest A-hole in the history of Detroit radio, Ritchard Homberg the General Manager at WWJ in Detroit. He was the guy who did the deal for CBS for the rights to Michigan football.  You see Homberg is a tool and his karma sucks; it is an accumulation of the years of screwing people. 

I've always said it, you lay with a dog, you get fleas.  I should know, I need to have them removed one-by-one.  It took months to get the "suck" off me after my association with Homberg.  I warned Michigan about Homberg but they wouldn't listen, now he's gone and brought down the program.

Hopefully he will be gone soon as WWJ continues to tank in ratings and revenue, but the curse won't go away quickly...ask the Tigers and Lions.

The guy is an asshat.
