Jay Towers on WOMC.
I have received many e-mails regarding Jay Towers and his new gig on WOMC.
What do I think? I think it is the perfect job for Jay. Face it, Jay didn't have a lot to offer the talk radio world, he is a music jock. He is perfect when he has only 20 seconds to talk. He doesn't have much else to say.
I think it was admirable that Jay attempted talk radio, but the failure of the show is indicative of exactly what happens when somebody who is use to talking for 20 seconds at a time vs. 20 minutes at a time.
Jocking at WOMC is great for Jay Towers, he should have never attempted talk radio, it isn't his forte. You need to have a well rounded view of the world for talk radio and Jay simply wasn't prepared for the spoken word format.
I wonder what Jay has to offer the oldies crowd, but hey, a guy's gotta work.
