TO ITS ON-AIR ROSTER
Brady Moves from the Motor City to Co-Host on The Bill Watters Show
(January 3, 2008 – Toronto, Canada) AM640 TORONTO RADIO, The Home of The Leafs, is pleased to announce that seasoned sports broadcaster Greg Brady has joined The Bill Watters Show as afternoon drive co-host effective immediately.
“Greg is the perfect fit for The Bill Watters Show given his sports expertise and in-depth knowledge of all major league sports,” said Gord Harris, AM640 Program Director. “Greg is smart, talented, has a great sense of humour and absolutely loves what he does – which is infectious on the radio. In the weeks that he has been filling in for us, the audience response has been tremendous. We are thrilled to have Greg join the AM640 team.”
Brady comes to AM640 from Sports Radio WDFN in Detroit, where he co-hosted the morning show for the past six years. During that time, he covered a wide range of live sports events including the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, the Stanley Cup and also acted as the BBC’s correspondent for the World Series. Brady‘s love of sports radio began at the young age of 15, when he did play-by-play on a five-watt radio frequency at tennis camp. A London, Ontario native, he has a political science degree from the University of Western Ontario and started his professional broadcast career at CKLW in Windsor.
Greg Brady can be heard daily on The Bill Watters Show, weekdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on AM640 Toronto Radio, The Home of the Leafs. Listen online at www.640toronto.com.
