Drew Lane is a goner...

It appears that Drew Lane is leaving Detroit radio for Phoenix, Az.

On February 7, 2008, Drew Lane signed a multi-year deal with XTRA Sports 910 AM.^{[citation needed]} The move back to Arizona was made because of family and Tess' condition. Drew is due to take over the morning show slot with Bickley on March 3, 2008. Bickley was the co-host with MJ. Unfortunately, MJ has notified the radio station of his departure at the beginning of March 2008, which opens the way for Drew. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Keep in mind that Wikipedia is an open source encyclopedia and anybody can update it.  As of Monday morning, the Wikipedia entry had already been removed so this likely isn't true.

The only thing I can think is, why would Drew leave WRIF?  He can't possibly make more money in Phoenix and his success is not assured, starting over is hard, take it from me.

If this story is correct, Drew will Co-host the XTRA Morning Show with Arizona Republic columnist Dan Bickley.
