Over the last few weeks I have been getting notices from facebook that "so and so" had requested to be my friend or that there were messages for me at Facebook. I didn't think much of it as I had never started a facebook pages and don't even really check my old Myspace account. I was under the impression that facebook was for kids and I just never bothered to check it out.
I finally responded and check the site which somebody apparently made for me and decided the hi-jack the account. The person who started the account used my actual e-mail address so I just had it sent to me and changed it and now the account is mine. I don't know what the person who started my Facebooks page's intentions were but I am now firmly in control of my page.
I will admit, Facebook is a lot better than Myspace, I have never seen so many old radio friends in one place in my life, it has been great catching up with all the folks from my Detroit days.
I don't think I will ever be a facebook addict but I will check it out periodically just to make sure I'm staying in touch with old friends.
