She happily wish a Mr. Eaton Beaver a happy 69th birthday!!  ROFL.  GOD, this is just too good.

Joaquin Phoenix flips out on Letterman!

If you didn't see this last night on "The Late Show" here is the video clips of Joaquin Phoenix last night on the show.

He seems like he is stoned out of his gourd.  Too bad, the guy is talented, looks like he's going the way of his older brother River.  This interview is just nuts, but Letterman makes it hilarious.  Watch the video all the way to the end when Dave and Paul start insulting Phoenix.

Man punches 16 year old girl at McDonald's....

I know I shouldn't laugh at this, but take a look at this story and video of a man with a young child in line at a McDonald's in South Central Los Angeles.  The man and a young girl argued over who was first in line when the old man had had enough and slapped her up with a couple of well placed punches to the face.

Yes, it is wrong, I know but how many of us have wanted to beat the living crap out of some smart ass kid while we were out and about?  Come 'on, can't you just see this young girls head bobbin' to and fro as she unleashed a stream of expletives in front of everybody at the McDonald?  We'd have all liked to have the dome the same thing, but our upbringing and sense of right and wrong would have prevented it.

I wonder how many times this man has put up with some loud mouth, disrespectful teenager in L.A. before he finally unleashed an ass whuppin'. 

I hope the guy is caught, I'd love to hear his side of the story.

I'm not telling you again!

I had dinner with a couple of "Lion friendlies" while I was in Detroit last week, both of these Detroit Media heavyweights insisted that there was "no way" the Lions would lose to the Falcons.  I heard many commentators were picking the Lions, hell, some even called it the "lock of the century."

Clearly the "lock of the century" guy isn't a Detroit Lions follower or he would have known better.  I learned my lesson when Lomas Brown predicted victory over the Eagles in the 1995 playoffs, hopefully others will cast a more cynical eye toward the Lions as they move forward into the 2008 season.

Sorry, I wasn't buying it and I said so to these Lion friendlies. When are you people gonna learn?  The Detroit Lions are NEVER going to win, ever.  The franchise is just a joke, they got rid of all their best players in the off-season to bring in more "Marinelli guys" but that just makes the Lions a Tampa Bay JV.

At least most Detroiters aren't buying it, there are tickets available for the Green Bay game this weekend.  Maybe old man Ford can cover some of those seats in the upper level to reduce the seating capacity to get the games on TV.  Bottom line, Marinelli and Millen must go, enough is enough.

Same old Lion crap.

This should be a HUGE reality check for those delusional lion fans who thought a 4 - 0 pre-season mattered. It doesn't matter and the Lions still suck hard.

Guest post: Name that villian....

The last thing I ever wanted to do on this blog was get political but it’s hard to ignore the on going Kwame Kilpatrick saga. It’s also been tough to ignore the hottest movie in America, “Dark Knight.” Just wanted to throw a suggestion out to Warner Brothers, if you’re having a hard time deciding on a villain for the next batman movie why not utilize the brand new Michigan filmmaker’s tax incentive, film the movie here and use the super villain we have right here in our own back yard.

His superpowers would include corruption, fear/hate mongering and unwavering denial in the face of incriminating evidence.

Now that I have my cards out on the table, I guess you’ll have to take my reviews with a grain of salt knowing that i’ll be writing with an anti-Kwame bias.

The only question is, what would his super villain name be?

Aren't we at 15 minutes yet?

Check out this video of Omarosa on The Wendy Williams Show.  The two went at it and it was kinda funny, but when is this woman's 15 minutes up?  What does she bring to the table other than she is just NASTY and repulsive.  Are we that desperate for entertainment?  Maybe!

Maybe the blog isn't dead, but my brain is....

TooBig had a great idea, he suggested that I allow "guest bloggers" to post while I am busy for the next couple of weeks and I love the idea.  If you are interested in becoming a guest blogger, I'd be happy to post your writings!  You can blog about any subject and get read by a lot of people in Detroit and around the country.

My Blog is dead...

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I really think my blog is dead.

I just don't have anything to write about at this time and am not really motivated to write.

The Jungle Java opens this week and Nicole and I have a ton of stuff to get done before we open so I don't expect to have any new content for the balance of the week.

I don't want to force myself to write, but I get a ton of e-mail wondering where I have been.  I'm still here, but I'm as busy as I've ever been. 

If you hang with me for the next ten days, I think I can get back to blogging daily, but right now the demands of starting a business are keeping me from mentally putting out new material.  I'm so busy that I just don't really have any interest in blogging about radio or Detroit for that matter.

We open the Jungle Java this week and I am thrilled, I will have pictures soon.

At least there is one reason to vote for Obama!

It looks like another Baldwin is threatening to leave the U.S. if his Presidential candidate doesn't win the election.  This time it is Stephen, let's just hope if Obama wins he keeps his word, UNLIKE his brother!
