Today Was A Sad Day In My Life!

Today I officially reached middle age, I lost my perfect vision.  I have dreaded this day for a long time.  My once perfect vision is now not so perfect.  I am getting my first pair of eye glasses.  I've notice my declining sight for a few years and was worried that my poor diabities habits were the culprit but today I was informed by my eye doctor that it was nothing more than age.  Thank GOD, I don't have any damage from diabeties!

Stunninly this was my first real punch to the head of middle age.  I haven't even notice that I crossed over before this recent incident.  Now I am more attuned than ever that I am "officially" and old fart.

When did you first realize you were "old?"
