You will notice that podcast # 2 has been removed from March 22, 2007. I received this letter from CBS's attorney's today. Apparently I don't own my own recordings of past shows. It is hilarious that this major broadcasting company took the time to download and listen to my PODCAST. With WKRK in the crapper you would think they would have better things to do that monitor my podcasts. That should explain why WKRK is a 1.6 in the ratings, not enough focus on themselves and making great radio.
The big radio company's are shaking in their boots because of the Internet and podcasting. As they continue to disenfranchise their once loyal audiences they are keenly aware that the listener will search elsewhere for entertainment they like. Howard and satellite were just the tip of the iceberg. On demand radio is eroding traditional radio because of stuff like this cease and desist letter.
