I have accepted the Operations Manager position with Federated Media's Legendary WOWO and ESPN 1380 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This position marks my transition from sports talk radio to News/Talk radio and I am doing it with a really great station that those in radio know is truly a legend. For my listeners in Dallas and Detroit, WOWO is one of the Midwest's great radio stations similar to WBAP in Dallas and WJR in Detroit.

Fort Wayne is a city in the U.S. state of Indiana and the county seat of Allen County. As of 2010, the city had a population of 253,691.[2] It is the second largest city in Indiana, after Indianapolis. The municipality is located in northeastern Indiana, approximately 18 miles (29 km) west of the Ohio border[3] and 50 miles (80 km) south of the Michigan border.[4]
By the 21st century, Fort Wayne's economy was based on manufacturing, education, insurance, health care,[8] logistics,[9] and defense and security.[10] The city has been an All-America City Award recipient in 1982, 1998, and 2009.[11]
Needless to say as a radio guy, I am excited and intrigued about WOWO and look forward to having a hand in shaping its future. I'll start working with the great staff at WOWO on May 2.
If you are ever in Fort Wayne, look me up and we can have a couple of beers at a Tin Caps game.
Coolest upside? Tiger games in Detroit and Michigan football on Saturdays!
